Going Global with M2M & IOT

3/4/2014

There is no question the M2M (machine-to-machine) IoT (Internet of Things) or the Internet of Everything market is growing by leaps and bounds. As the M2M marketplace continues take shape, every player has an opportunity to take advantage of the market’s growth potential. As with any emerging marketplace, there are many challenges for deploying a multi-national initiative and that includes controlling costs.  If you are looking to adopt a new M2M solution or to expand your service offerings with new features and/or technologies, than it only makes sense to have a clear strategy  that includes best practices with the best players to help drive your mission forward.

This means having a constant eye on the bottomline and asking yourself some of these key questions:

• What are the three most important things you must know to deploy M2M in the United States?
• What five factors can make or break your multi-national M2M program?
• What options will help you save money during the first year and throughout the lifecycle of your M2M deployment?

To help achieve these goals Aeris Communications, www.aeris.com, an M2M technology service provider, is hosting a webinar that will discuss the unique needs and challenges for deploying multi-national M2M/IoT communication programs. The session will feature a case study from Patrick Bertagna of GTX, a GPS tracking company, running a M2M program in U.S., Europe, and Africa. Bertagna will discuss what worked and what he wished he had known before starting. Mohsen Mohseninia, general manager, Europe, Aeris Communications, and Peggy Smedley, host of The Peggy Smedley Show will also be on hand to address questions in the rapidly changing marketplace.
