Watch the Adventure in fēnix 2

The newest product from, Garmin,, the fēnix 2 promises an outdoor experience like never before, with GPS, new training options, and smartphone connection capabilities. The fēnix is all about aiding the user in an exploration, making the journey of an everyday hike more of an adventure.

The new wristwatch combines fitness with outdoorsy technology, while notifying the user of updates via their smart device. Not only can the user maintain the data of distance run, time, and pace, the watch transfers data through the Garmin Connect system rather than forcing the user to view the information at a later time on a computer.

The fēnix 2 also collects a runner’s workout. But that’s not all. Because it is versatile, skiers and swimmers in training can easily attach the watch to a sleeve or swimwear with a strap extender, allowing for ease of access.

The adventure continues with a built in GPS that can create routes and save previously travelled locations and key points of interest. It has a rechargeable battery that can last up to 50 hours while in GPS mode, or up to five weeks in watch mode. It’s a tool for the adventurer at heart, looking to amp up the journey with a little technology.
