Multi-Tech Debuts Telit-Powered Products

This week’s CTIA MobileCON conference in San Diego features many examples of companies working together, and that’s certainly the case with M2M (machine-to-machine) providers Multi-Tech Systems and Telit Wireless Solutions. 

Multi-Tech Systems, www.multitech.com, announced a new line of products that will feature modules from Telit Wireless Solutions. www.telit.com. The products include two versions of an intelligent wireless router with new form factors and features, a USB cellular dongle designed and built for OEM-quality M2M solutions, a Mini PCI Express embedded cellular modem, and 3G models of its SocketModem line of embedded cellular modems with Universal Socket connectivity.

The products are designed to offer faster communication speed and longer lifecycles, which can be important for M2M products deployed in the field. Additionally, customers will be able to choose either HSPA+ or EV-DO cellular technology.


Multi-Tech will be showing the products at the Telit booth during MobileCON. Partnerships like this one for M2M components underscore the value of working with trusted players in the M2M space.
