Chicago, Ill. - May 22, 2012: Do you consider yourself a hacker? Bring your game to three sessions during the course of two days with one objective: create the world’s first killer M2M app! Fame, fortune, and energy drinks are the rewards for creativity and coding skills: June 11-13 during the Connected World Conference, just west of Chicago.

Connected World Conference will provide the drinks, snacks, developer kits, and the room to code—all day and all night—to see what emerges from this magic cyber stew. The winners will receive not only cash, but a secure place in the history of hacking—guaranteed by a cover story in the nationally distributed Connected World magazine.

Rewards:
1st place: $3,000, and inclusion in an upcoming cover story in Connected World magazine
2nd place: $1,500
3rd place: the new iPad
4th place: a cellular signal booster

Work solo or in teams (limit three members). A winner or a winning team from each Hackathon will be selected to show off their coding ability, closing the Connected World Conference.

Schedule:
The fun starts during the Opening Night Gadget Giveaway event, June 11 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Grab some food, drinks, and your developer kit to get started. Hackers may participate in one or all three Hackathon sessions.

Hackathon Sessions:

This session will be led by Exosite, which provides a one-stop shop for remote-monitoring needs to product developers, system integrators, and facility managers.

Tuesday, June 12 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
ILS Technology, provider of an off-the-shelf cloud platform to connect enterprise IT systems to the devices and machines on which businesses depend, will lead this session.
