mmayer@specialtypub.comCarol Stream, Ill. - June 12, 2012 - Innovation led to recognition for the winners of the 2012
Connected World magazine Value Chain Awards and ConnectED Awards on Tuesday night, during the annual Value Chain Awards Gala.
Held as a part of the Connected World Conference, the Value Chain Awards Gala honors success in the M2M and connected-devices marketplace. This year’s event was held June 11-13 at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Ill.
Conference attendees had a chance to peruse the Exhibit Hall, featuring a distracted-driving pavilion, an array of connected vehicles, as well as emergency-response equipment, and a connected gift-card kiosk. The 2012 Connected World Conference also included educational sessions highlighting innovation in areas such as the connected home, healthcare, first responders, and much more.
“The 2012 winners represent successful implementations in home health, education, emergency response, tracking, and even the prevention of distracted driving. This is a great illustration as to how M2M technology and connected devices can be relied upon to not only make our lives more convenient and efficient, but much safer and responsible,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director,
Connected World. “Congratulations to all of the individuals and companies honored tonight.”
