Carol Stream, Ill. - June 22, 2010 - The winners of the prestigious 2010 M2M Value Chain Awards were presented by Connected World magazine during a formal gala at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place hotel in Chicago, Ill., on June 17, 2010.

The Value Chain Awards Gala is the closing event of the annual Connected World Conference. The 2010 event brought an array of both professional and consumer attendees looking to learn about the latest developments being offered through the use of machine-to-machine technology in the connected devices marketplace. Attendees gathered to hear from the leading companies within the space, and also witnessed the unveiling of the launch issue of Connected World magazine.

The formal event on Thursday evening honored this year's most successful corporate adopters of M2M technology, as well as the team of solution providers that made their success possible.

Selected by an esteemed panel of industry analysts and experts, the awards highlight the process of combining multiple technologies such as device-connectivity hardware, radio modules, network service and provision, as well as application software and infrastructure, and show how all of the elements of the M2M value chain created a winning solution for the end customer.

"The companies that are receiving Value Chain Awards this year represent an excellent mix of applications and industries. I am honored to be recognizing such stellar companies," says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Connected World magazine.
